We find a glass mug stuck into a hole in the side of a cliff. Did Tsosie and Nez leave this behind when they left their camp near the oil pumps? The clues are few and far between but Mo Black is on their trail in Monster Slayer’s Son.

About Karen Hopkins

Karen Hopkins (1949-) was born and raised, California. At seventeen she moved to Talcahuano, Chile. After completing her university degree she moved to London, England to work for Pan American Airlines and traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, and India. For twenty-six years Karen taught Spanish and English as a Second Language in a variety of settings including a private school in Panama, the "most remote school in the United States" in Ticaboo, Utah, the Navajo Reservation, and on a teacher exchange in Hermosillo, Mexico. Karen and her husband traveled extensively in Mexico and Central America, spending many summers in the highlands of Chiapas, Guatemala, and El Salvador . Karen currently lives and writes in Arizona near the Mexican border.

  1. Oh rats. I didn’t remember this incident from Monster Slayer, and I was all pumped thinking there might be a new book in the series, on its way to press. 😦
